The United States of America (United States), is a country primarily located in North America. It is a federal union of 50 states and a federal capital district, Washington, D.C.

composed of three distinct branches, namely: legislative, executive, and judicial, whose powers are vested by the U.S. Constitution in the Congress, the President, and the Federal courts, respectively.

Judiciary is made of the Supreme Court and lower federal courts.
The country has a number of government departments; including the Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS); which controls the country’s Immigration system based on the immigration Act 1990 and Nationality Act 1965.
United States operates within a multi-party system, with the Democratic and Republican Parties as the most influential players. The country has an executive President.
United States’ GDP is about $25.43 trillion and a population of about 335 Million.
